4x4 Capability
The state-of-the-art Grand Cherokee is designed on new architecture inside and out to deliver unmatched capability and composed driving dynamics. We’d expect nothing less from Jeep. In the new Grand Cherokee, experience the renowned 4x4 Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II systems, along with Quadra-Lift air suspension and the Selec-Terrain traction management system.
In fact, the Quadra-Lift™ air suspension delivers a class-leading 11.3 inches of ground clearance, and 24 inches of water fording. And it doesn’t stop there, a class- exclusive sway bar disconnect has been added to deliver better articulation and traction over rough and rocky terrain.

With an estimated range of 25 miles all electric driving, you’ll be free to run errands and short journeys without using any fuel or producing harmful emissions. And, it’s not just all about driving electric on the road. The Grand Cherokee 4xe is the most sustainable and capable of its kind yet, and that means it performs on all terrain. The Trailhawk 4xe has even conquered the infamously treacherous Rubicon Trail in full electric operation. So now you can experience off-road freedom, in near silence.
Electrify Adventure With 3 Modes
The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe features three E Select modes, so the driver can best tailor the hybrid powertrain to suit the nature of each journey. Whether you’re commuting, off-roading or taking a long distance road trip the New Cherokee’s got you covered. Select which powertrain mode you’d like to drive in with the easily located buttons to the left of the steering wheel: Hybrid, Electric, or eSave.
HybridIn hybrid mode torque is blended from both the electric motor and the petrol engine. This mode will optimise battery and engine power simultaneously, to deliver the best fuel efficiency and performance. | ElectricTurn on electric mode and the car will operate on zero-emission electric power, until the battery reaches its minimum charge. | eSaveeSave prioritises the engine and saves battery life for later use. The driver also has the ability to choose between Battery Save and Battery Charge while driving in eSave, via the UConnect 5 system. |
